Ketua Tim Kendali Mutu dan Kendali Biaya (TKMKB) Tulungagung, dr Abu Mardah mengatakan, pihaknya berupaya mengontrol beberapa kasus yang terjadi dengan tujuan meningkatkan kendali biaya, terutama di Fasilitas Kesehatan Rujukan Tingkat Lanjut (FKRTL).

Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Gizi Nasional, Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) memerangi stunting dan obesitas. Oleh karena itu BKKBN melakukan kerjasama dengan PT Unilever Indonesia,yang mengusung tema “Aksi Bersama Cegah Stunting dan Obesitas,” Selasa (25/01).

Background
Stunting is impaired linear growth of children: they experience stunting in the first 1000 days after conception and is an indication of chronic malnutrition. Children under the age of two are regarded as the most vulnerable to malnutrition due to their rapid growth and greater exposure to infectious disease.

Poor quality of healthcare is a global public health problem. Laboratory services are key factors in the delivery of quality care, as the diagnosis of the disease is the starting point for appropriate treatment and surveillance of diseases. This is shown in a new doctoral thesis at Umeå University, where the quality of laboratory services in Rwanda is analyzed.
