Divisi regional (Divre) sembilan BPJS kesehatan telah melakukan presentasi plan of action. Kegiatan berlangsung tanggal 23 Januari lalu. Presentasi dilakukan dalam rangka menyelesaikan modul enam pelatihan blended learning pencegahan, deteksi, dan penindakan fraud yang diselenggarakan atas kerjasama BPJS kesehatan dengan Pusat Kebijakan dan Manajemen Kesehatan (PKMK) FK UGM.

Pusat Kebijakan dan Manajemen Kesehatan (PKMK) FK UGM telah bekerjasama dengan BPJS kesehatan dalam pelatihan blended learning pencegahan, deteksi, dan penindakan fraud. Kegiatan ini sebagai langkah awal BPJS untuk mencegah fraud dalam layanan kesehatan. Sebagai tindak lanjut BPJS dalam memerangi fraud, BPJS berencana melakukan penelitian untuk pencegahan, deteksi, dan penindakan fraud di rumah sakit.

A 2013 report issued by the Pew Research Institute found that 39 percent of American households provide care to a family member, with the average caregiver falling within the ages of 45 to 64.

A study released by AARP in 2013 forecasts a dramatic decline in the availability of family caregivers. While the number of Americans over 80 is projected to increase by 79 percent between 2010 and 2030, the demographic of people between the ages of 45-64 will increase by only 1 percent.

85 Persen Pasien Harusnya Diselesaikan di Puskesmas

puskesmasMenteri Kesehatan Nila F Moeloek berharap agar prosentase pasien yang masuk ke RS rujukan hanya 15 persen. Artinya 85 persen pasien bisa diselesaikan di fasilitas kesehatan tingkat primer atau Puskesmas atau dokter keluarga.

“Rumah sakit sebaiknya lebih difokuskan pada rumah sakit pendidikan dan penelitian. Bukan untuk pengobatan,” kata Nila disela Rapat Arahan Strategis Nasional Tahun 2015 bertema Tri Sukses BPJS Kesehatan 2015.

Medicare ‘quality indicators’ diverge from quality care

Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell announced this week that, through the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medicare would be taking drastic steps to assure that doctors are paid not for visits and procedures, but rather for the value of their work. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) website states that “providers must make fundamental changes in their day-to-day operations that improve the quality and reduce the cost of health care.”
