Sudah satu tahun lebih pandemi COVID-19 menjadi masalah kesehatan di hampir semua negara di dunia. Per 18 Mei 2021 jumlah kasus COVID-19 di seluruh dunia mencapai angka 163.312.429 kasus dengan 3.386.825. Di Indonesia sendiri tercatat sebanyak 1.744.045 kasus terkonfirmasi COVID-19 dengan 48.305 kematian (WHO, 2021).
